Cajun Sausage & Cheese Stuffed Bread

1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed,

1 pound of cooked breakfast sausage, I used the HOT variety
8 to 10 oz. shredded sharp cheddar cheese or a mix of cheddar and mozzarella
1egg, mix together with sausage before you cook it
Melted butter
1 white onion (sautéed), I sautéed the onion with the sausage

Roll out bread with rolling pin, spread melted butter, cooked sausage, onions and cheese. Roll up and place in a bundt pan or cookie sheet. I would bake @ 350 until brown.

Easiest Corn on the Cob Ever

Want to know the easiest way to cook corn on the cob? Throw it in the oven at 350° for 25-30 minutes. That’s it. Leave the husk on, it will trap in the moisture, leaving you with juicy, tender corn. The husk and silk will peel away easily once it’s cooked. Cut off the large end and it slides right out with no silk.

Winter Sore Throat "Tea

makes about 2 cups
◾2 lemons thoroughly cleaned and sliced
◾2 piece of ginger about the size of your pointer and middle finger together sliced into coin size pieces
◾Honey (about 1 cup-maybe more)

In a 12-16 oz. jar combine lemon slices and sliced ginger. Pour honey (organic is best) over it slowly. This may take a little time to let the honey sink down and around the lemon and ginger slices. Make sure when the honey has filled in all the voids, there is enough to cover the top of the lemon slices. Close jar and put it in the fridge, it will form into a "jelly". To serve: Spoon jelly into mug and pour boiling water over it. Store in fridge 2-3 months.

8-10 med. potatpes cut into 1/2 inch cubes
1/3 c. olive oil
1-1/2 tsp. Coarse sea salt for sprinkling
1 T. black pepper
1 T. paprika
2 T. garlic powder
6 T. hot sauce

Spray a 9x13" baking dish with cooking spray.

While the potatoes are cooking, add the cubed chicken to the bowl with the leftover hot sauce mixture and stir to coat.
Once the potatoes are fully cooked, remove from the oven and lower the temperature to 400 degrees.
Top the cooked potatoes with the raw marinated chicken.
In a bowl, mix together the cheese, bacon and green onion and top the raw chicken mixture.
Return the casserole to the oven and bake for 15 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and the topping is bubbly.

Salted Caramel Pretzel Bark

2 sticks of butter
1 cup of light brown sugar
1 reg. bag of pretzels (you'll use about 3/4 of the bag)
12 ounce bag of chocolate chips
Sea salt - ( I use our coarse sea salt with our grinder)

Preheat the oven to 400.

Line a large bar pan with parchment paper, cover with pretzels
In a medium saucepan melt the butter over medium-low heat. When it begins to bubble add the brown sugar. Stirring occasionally let the butter/sugar mixture meld together and brown. This should take about 3 minutes. Do NOT let it boil, you will have sticky goo that is no good. When you have a nice, brown caramel pour it over the pretzels, slowly and evenly. You can then use a spatula to spread it out, you have to work quickly and gently. It hardens fast so even pouring is the best method.

Bake the sheet for 5 minutes.

Remove the sheet from the oven and sprinkle the whole bag of chocolate chips evenly over the mixture.

Place back in the oven for about 45 seconds. If you let it sit there too long the chocolate will burn.

Remove from the oven and use a silicone spatula to evenly spread the chocolate over the top.

Sprinkle with sea salt and refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour.
